Interdisciplinary Studio SHOWCASE

Event Description

Venue

The AART3000 Interdisciplinary Studio Showcase is an exhilarating exhibition featuring the exceptional creative talents of third-year students who have embarked on a captivating journey of exploration. Responding to the theme of "explore," these budding artists and innovators have pushed the boundaries of their creativity and discipline.

The showcase offers a dynamic array of artistic expressions, all encapsulating the spirit of discovery and curiosity. It's a compelling convergence of ideas, techniques, and perspectives, where each piece narrates a unique exploration, unearthing hidden dimensions of our world and the human experience. Chromatic Festival and The University of Newcastle acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal Nation, Darkinjung Nation, Biripai Nation, Worimi Nation, Wonnarua Nation and Eora Nation. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.

Chromatic Festival and The University of Newcastle recognise that First Nations sovereignty was never ceded. This continent always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.

We respect their cultural heritage, beliefs, and continuing relationship with the land, and recognise that they are the proud survivors of more than two hundred years of dispossession.
